APG Accounting is a full-service accounting and taxation firm. We provide expert and innovative services to small and medium businesses and individual investors. We help our clients to understand and meet their taxation and regulatory obligations in an empowering and supportive environment.
Whether you’re just getting started and are on the hunt for an honest and dependable accountant, or are looking to move over to us from an existing accountant, getting the ball rolling couldn’t be simpler.

Xero is the fastest growing cloud-based accounting software in Australia. APG Accounting has been using Xero for years and our Xero expertise is well appreciated by our clients. As of February 2021, we have been upgraded to a Xero Gold Partner, making us one of only a few firms in the Territory to have attained the status.
Our Xero Gold status means that we can deliver you the highest level of Xero training and support. We can get your business set up and running efficiently, give you and your staff training and be there for assistance whenever you need it.

Moving across
If you have an existing accountant we’ll get in touch with them to ensure a seamless and pain free transfer of your taxation and accounting affairs. You don’t have to do a thing!

Important systems
We will establish your accounting systems (if needed), which includes:
- Software - Xero set up and configured to track the performance of your business
- Bookkeeping – Hubdoc set up and integrated with your Xero account to increase the efficiency of your day-to-day financial admin

Andrew Green
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in accounting, internal financial management and taxation. He has worked within private accounting practices including Garraways Chartered Accountants, Horwarth Darwin and Kostkas Pty Ltd. Andrew has also worked for Charles Darwin University (CDU) and Northern Territory General Practitioner Education (NTGPE) in senior finance roles.
Andrew has completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Law, at a Northern Territory University. In 2004 he successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) program and went on to complete the CPA Public Practice Program in 2008.
More recently Andrew was awarded the Master in Taxation and Financial Planning from University of New South Wales (ATAX) in 2010, one of Australia’s premier post-graduate taxation training providers.
Andrew maintains his knowledge currency and professional standards through membership to several professional organisations, including:
- Institute of Public Accountants (Fellow)
- National Taxation Accountants Association (Fellow)
- The Tax Institute (Chartered Tax Advisor)
- Institute of Financial Accountants (Fellow)
From time to time Andrew also sits on not-for-profit committees and boards and is currently the President of Hockey Northern Territory and Treasurer for Clubhouse Territory.
